Sony’s new smartwatch is may give Pebble watch a run for its money.
The start-up whippersnappers who created the pebble watch may have been able to run the most successful kickstarter fundraising campaign ever, but they now have some serious competition to deal with now: Sony. Sony is coming out with their touchscreen smartwatch. It has a 1.3-inch full-color touch-screen display, bluetooth, 1.3-inch touch-screen OLED display. Battery life is 3-4 days.
Features? The pebble watch can have a longer battery life and higher contrast display because it using e-paper as its display. The drawback? No color, no touchscreen. Pebble relies on 4 hardware buttons for navigation and app control.
Plus Sony Smartwatch is already on the market. You can purchase it from Amazon for $129.99. It’s cheaper than the pebble and already out.
